There are a range of factors that determine how much your charter costs, which are explained below:-
We convert this into an estimated number of flying hours, with a minimum flying time of one hour. The flight time will depend not only on the distance, but on the number of passengers and assumed wind speed and direction. The hourly cost will vary with the cost of fuel.
These can vary considerably. Some hotels and restaurants don’t charge, whilst sporting events and festivals tend to charge up to £100 plus VAT. Landing charges at airports and heliports can run into several hundred pounds.
There is no charge for the first two hours of waiting time, but thereafter there will be a small charge included in your quote.
Our standard approach is to include one pilot, but some people prefer to have a second pilot on board for peace of mind. If you want a second pilot, please indicate on the additional notes on the enquiry form.
If the charter involves an overnight stay there will be overnight parking costs for the helicopter along with accommodation and out of pocket expenses for the pilot(s).
Regular travellers with Helicentre UK have the option to buy blocks of 25 hours usage at a discounted hourly rate. Further information is available on request.
